Our mission is to provide strength to arms and minds of girl students from the town and peripheral villages who would not only be educated but would be empowered with respect to employment. Self-employment, morality and strengthening of social attitude.

Co-curricular Programs
All the subjects which are taught in the college form their study circles to enhance the co-curricular and cultural activities such as seminars, speeches of studied personalities, essay writing competitions, music competitions, sports activities, etc.
Various social activiies are organized by the NSS (National Service Scheme) department. SGBAU has taken the cognizance of the same by awarding ‘Best NSS Woman Programme Officer’ to Dr. Triveni Sonone.
Separate and well equipped library with latest books, reference books, journals, various newspapwers, weekly journals, reading room, separate arrangements for research activities is provided.
Alumni association has been formed and registered. Many students are wll in contact with the college. They participate in college activities. College also invites them as chief guests at various functions.
